Prayers for the Stauffers

Juanita, a dear friend and fellow homeschooler, could use your prayers. Her 14 year old daughter, Emily, was attacked and killed while on a walk yesterday afternoon. Emily was a beautiful young lady inside and out. Her dad wrote a short blog post about it today.

How terrible. I'm so sorry, Jacqueline.

I saw this terrible news this morning when a pastor blogged about it. I am so sorry.

I hugged my 14 year old daughter a few extra times today.

Praying for the Stauffer Family,
Janet

I am so sorry for the loss that family is living through. Such a terrible reminder that we are only here for a short time - some too short for our human hearts to understand.
They have my prayers.

My pastor emailed about this the day it happened, as the Stauffers' church is a sister church of ours. I am praying.

Re: your comment -- well, if you can get a church or other organization to invite us out, we'd be happy to come perform :). So far we've stuck to southern Ontario, but we're hoping to tour other areas of Canada and the U.S. as well.

My sympathies, Jacqueline. This is just a nightmare. Sending prayers to you and the family.

Oh my. I hadn't heard about this - but I just can't imagine. That poor family! Horrifying.

In an odd six-degrees of separation sort of twist, the mother of a friend of mine is an RCMP officer in Edson.

What a complete tragedy. My prayers are with the family - and you as well, as their friend... this is awful...
