Keep Christ in every single day

My friend Tom had something on his status on facebook a few days back and I asked his permission to use it in a blog post.  Here's what he had to say:
"Keeping Christ in Christmas is the easy part. Allowing him to live through us during the other 364 days of the year? That's the challenge! If I were so accused, would there be enough evidence to warrant a conviction? "So it is true of the child born in Bethlehem. He does not live in men's hearts only one day of the year, but in all the days of the year" - Ghost of Christmas present, A Christmas Carol."
It really struck me when I read it.  We make such a big fuss about Keeping Christ in Christmas, but we really should be concerned about letting him shine through us every single day.  Thanks for the reminder, Tom.  I'm going to try to keep that thought in the forefront this year.

Keep Christ in every single day.

I LOVE it. A great quote, a great thought. I was just telling myself that I want Christmas to last all year! Same thing really.. Focusing on the Son this year.

Whatever our beliefs, I think it's always important to remember that they should be for every day. Not just those occasions when it's popular or convenient.

Thanks for playing 6WS!
