Napier's Bones - Multiplying with Wood
Ever heard of Napier's bones before? I didn't, until I read Farm School's lastest post just now. This site gives a really good explanation of what they are and how they work, while this site tells you how to make your own neat set out of wood.

Oh wow! THAT is neat. I think we'll have to have a math craft class and make a set. I wonder if that's related to lattice multiplication?
